Entry-Level and Growth Opportunities
We stand for flat hierarchies and for allowing employees to take on responsibility early on. This enables you to develop quickly and continuously, and to constantly tackle new tasks and challenges.

If you like, you can already begin working for us as an analyst when you have your bachelor’s degree, actively supporting us in project tasks. Once you have your master’s degree, your career with us will then really take off as you become a consultant / economist and part of the team – part of the FICHTNER family.
After about two or three years of providing skilled support in project execution, the next step for many is to become a senior consultant / senior economist. This is where you will be systematically developed from a sub-project manager to a project manager. After another two or three years, many then have to decide whether they would rather specialize in expert consulting or aim for a role as a manager. Those who wish to develop their skills in a particular subject area can progress to the role of senior expert / principal economist. In contrast to the expert role, the manager role involves greater responsibility for business acquisition. Those who are successful as managers will make the step up to senior managers. Senior managers have even more of a focus on business acquisition, and they are additionally given leadership responsibility. Perform well and you may have the opportunity to be promoted to partner. Only vague time spans can be given here, as the career steps are linked to measurable goals whose attainment depends very much on one’s own aspirations and abilities.
Positive continual development requires systematic and individually tailored training. In addition to our seminars, which provide you with the basics and the tools of a professional consultant, we also tailor our further training courses very specifically to your individual interests, needs and abilities.
